Think about it, the barrel goes thru the compensator on every pull of the trigger, after time this will cause your aluminum compensator to wear out and the accuracy will be gone with it.All dimensions are closely checked and controlled by our manufacturing team to meet original gun manufacturers specifications. Compensator detailed information:Designed to fit 5″ Government 1911 Autos. Barrel OD between 0.577″ ~ 0.581″. The ID is 0.582″ ~ 0.583″Calibers up to .45 ACP.
