TO MEET THE HIGH DEMAND FOR THIS GREAT PART WE MADE A MOLD OF THE FACTORY PART AND NOW, ONCE AGAIN, OFFER THIS GREAT AERO PRODUCT FOR YOUR 987. IT IS IDENTICAL TO THE FACTORY GT3 CUP SPLITTER BUT CUSTOMIZED FOR THE 987. THIS IS A REAL QUALITY PRODUCT PRODUCED HERE IN FLORIDA. CCD IS THE GOLD STANDARD IN CAYMAN BOXSTER AERO PRODUCTS FOR BOTH STREET AND TRACK CARS AND WAS RECENTLY FEATURED IN EXCELLENCE MAGAZINE. It meets German TUV standards and is engineered EXACTLY like the factory GT3 Cup part. It is made of beautifully finished FRP and has the same profile as the factory race/street splitter. but is custom manufactured to fit all 987 Caymans and Boxsters. (also fits some 996 911 Porsches). It attaches with the factory Porsche hardware (included) in the factory defined locations. This is an aggressive splitter that was designed for balanced downforce characteristics. It is about as aggressive as you can have and still have appropriate clearance for a lowered vehicle on both street and track. Its construction of FRP but attched to your semi rigid urethane bumper means it is more resilient when it comes to driveway and curb impacts than any other after-market splitter. It differs from the factory splitter only in that it is custom designed to fit 987 Caymans and Boxsters. It installs in 30 to 40 minutes and requires no paint or drilling in show surfaces. It does require drilling small mounting holes in factory locations on the non-visible underside, (non-show surface) of the bumper. You can easily remove in 15 minutes with absolutely NO negative visual impairment to your car. This product is custom made and may require up to 3 weeks for delivery. 981 version coming soon.
