This is a mega-rare authentic Schott Perfecto P667h leather motorcycle jacket. The Shinki-Hikaku horsehide leather moto jacket. Released in a strictly limited edition in April, 2022. List price was $1,690 – $1,833 at the time of release. They quickly sold out. New and never worn outside (other than tried on in home). Original tags removed. Virtually flawless! Honesty one of the most stunning leather jackets I’ve seen (I personally own one). First six photos are professional shots from the archived Schott site or photos with a model. The rest of the photos are of the actual jacket for sale. These are hi-res photos, so zoom in to see the beautiful condition (new) the jacket is in. Ships with its original Schott NYC garment bag and in a proper box for safe delivery. Please note: at the time of listing, I’m selling an identical jacket to this, with the only differences being it was never tried on and it comes with the original tags attached. That version, if it remains on offer, is a bit more expensive. Both of the jackets are extraordinary and some of the best pieces Schott has ever produced in its long and storied history. Here is text lifted from the archived Schott site about this jacket: We've teamed up with one of the highest regarded leather tanneries in the world for our new limited edition horsehide Perfecto(R) jacket. Shinki-Hikaku, based in Kobe, Japan, has been creating specialty horsehide since 1951 with a unique process that can take months. The leather has a rare texture and grain that is more pliable unlike the slick shiny horsehide you're used to seeing from us. Our American made, P667H is an asymmetrical leather Perfecto(R) jacket with new features including an ergonomic fitted back panel with added cut lines to give the jacket a nice shape and flexibility. The belt is fully removable for maximum versatility. We added an additional lapel snap to allow you to zip our signature asymmetrical zipper all the way up and snap down the collar. The 1.1-1.3 mm horsehide is vegetable tanned using casein protein and wax that give the leather a subtle glazed sheen and allows the unique grain to shine. This horsehide breaks in beautifully (and quickly) revealing a brown « teacore » center giving a rich depth that mimics the most perfectly vintaged jackets in our archives.
